The February 1 performance will feature the full sextet with our Jon McCaslin in a role he is not usually seen in: playing the vibraphone. This evening the group will split in several sub ensembles. The repertoire will be a mixture of both new originals and standard arrangements. Some tunes involve the full ensemble while others are played as trios and quartets. And of course, as always, there will be lots of improvisation.

For this evening we will have Cédric Blary on alto saxophone and bass clarinet, Jan Mulder on soprano and tenor saxophone, Trish Edwards on keyboards, Aaron Scholpp on bass, Jon McCaslin on vibraphone, and Robin Tufts on drums. The Cliff Bungalow community hall is located one block west of 22 Avenue & 5th Street S.W. Public transit users get there with the no 3 bus. Hope to see you there.
